- October 7, 2003 - A spectacular show
Not since the first rotoscope was introduced by Edison has there been such fascination,
amazement and entertainment. Brad Bumgardner put together a DVD extravaganza that ran for
15 minutes before the start of the show and through out our entire performance. It was
incredible. Copies of this DVD will be available for sale later in the year for a very
unreasonable price. Our goal is to have some of the DVD up on the website in the near future.
Way to go Brad. Watch the site and your e-mail for the next big production.

- Celebrity Bartending at Preservation Pub - October 7, 2003
From 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. your faithful improvers were behind the bar filling drink
orders, chatting up customers and collecting tips to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.
A huge thank you to the regulars who showed up to support the new pour masters and our
charity of choice. The teacher squad and superfans were well represented. At the end
of the evening the grand total was $121.00, the average celebrity bartending we were
informed is $30.00 - $40.00. Not bad for Knoxville's premiere A-list improv celebrities.

- Member Count Plus one - March 12, 2003
Holly Loy has returned to Knoxville, gotten settled and rejoined the mighty,
mighty Einstein Simplified improv fury engine. How did we manage without her
for all that time? Ask us sometime, maybe we'll have an answer. So she is
officially back in the swing of things. Ask her for an autograph, then check
to see if she got the last name right.

- Member Count Less one - January 4, 2003
Justin Benoit has formally submitted his resignation to the group. Justin has
decided to focus his attentions on the youth group he now leads, his job and
his corduroy stock. You regulars know what I'm talking about. As the first and
only Canadian to ever be in the group we will miss our Northern connection and
all the great jokes we could have at his expense. We wish you well Justin.

- Holiday Break 2002
Einstein Simplified will be taking a break for the 2002 holiday season. That
is to say that there will be no shows on December 24 or December 31. Please take
this time to follow our lead and visit your incarcerated relatives and celebrate
the holidays however you wish to do so. We will be back in force on January 7, 2003
with Paul Simmons as the emcee and all of you as the crowd. See if you can spot
the visiting fan from out of state.

- CanStruction - Follow up
Wow, what a great show of support from our fans, the Knoxville area and
Michael Brady Inc., the architect firm that assisted us beyond the call
of duty. Kudos to Jacene and friends from MBI, great job and all around
wonderful folks. And for those of you who are wondering, yes, it is for real
and yes Michael Brady is the same name as Mr. Brady, the architect from the
Brady Bunch. No relation. Also their designs are not stuck in the 70's, check
out their site and see what we mean.
As far as Canstruction goes, Knoxville beat Atlanta for number of cans, number
of sculptures and a whole lotta other stuff. Looks like TN can actually beat
GA at something.
