- 2005 Summary - December 14, 2005
Our last show of the 2005 season was yesterday at Sullivan's. It
went well and we were proud to present Tom and Jen a certificate
granting them honorary membership in the troupe.
It was a heck of a year, with Bill and Todd retiring, Brad dropping
back to special guest appearances only and Wes becoming a father.
The troupe looks different, acts different, but still entertains
better than any troupe near or far.
Thanks to the help of everyone we swept the year in the improv
top 50, taking first place every week.
Have safe and happy holidays and see you January 7th at The
Comedy Zone.

- Retirement Blow Out II - September 27, 2005
The show on the 27th of September was Wes Hope's last show as he has entered
the realm of retirement through fatherhood and the night shift. Bill, Brad
and Todd returned to the stage as well for the big show and it was as
wonderful and fantastic as RBO I. A standing room only crowd gave Wes the
farewell he deserved.

- CORRECTION Wes Officially becomes a dad - August 16, 2005
Turns out Wes was off on the estimate. Well before the show Danielle went
into labor and at 3:38pm Maddie Hope was born into the world. You can check
out photos of her at http://www.sportsshooter.com/hopefoto/maddie/index.html and
more of Wes's photo work at http://www.sportsshooter.com/members.html?id=1772

- Pre Father's Day Show - August 16, 2005
The show on the 16th of August will be Wes's last show for a while as
he and his wife prepare for the arrival of their first child. Given
Wes's timing it is only appropriate that the baby is due on Labor Day.
Come on out and say good luck, as well as seeing Brad, Todd and if all
goes well with the stairs, Bill as they join in the festivites.

- First Time Charmers - August 9, 2005
No sooner do two Steiners retire, then two more appear out of the
woodwork. Greg Huff and Dave Fennell made their 'probationary' first
show appearance this Tuesday and quickly showed that they belonged.
Not only did they get some standing ovations, but Greg set a landmark
by being the first sub-conscience to be struck by an audience member
for taking her line. Way to go guys.

- Retirement Blow Out - June 28, 2005
What an incredible show and wonderful event it was as Todd Covert and
Bill Slayden CPA performed their final show with Einstein Simplified.
The crowd was at capacity, SRO in fact, and the show went extra long
and extra funny. Wes Hope hosted the event and Brad Bumgardner participated
as it qualified as one of those special event guest appearances. Wes
did an outstanding job hosting and the final game was of course, Invader,
with Bill guessing and Todd providing the clues. Both were presented
with certificates by Wes, look for shots of the certificates in the photo album.
Todd will be once again be doing the band thing and Bill will be made
bionic to enhance his golf game. Fare thee well gentlemen, it was always
a helluva ride. Remember, like Brad, you are welcome to guest appearances.

- Catholic Gig Two - May 7, 2005
Yes, on Saturday May 7th we performed for Frank's Church
during their annual fund raising event. Frank was so nervous...How
nervous was he?...glad you asked...He was so nervous that in Animatronics
his hand shook so fast his watch stopped. But he had no reason to be
nervous, the show was a huge hit and of note is that Brad Bumgardner (this
being one of those special shows he does now) was the host for Game Show.

- Brad Bumgardner, Last Regular Show - May 3, 2005
Yes, the hilarious Brad is retiring to enjoy the life of ease as an over
worked editor. Brad will continue to be available for special shows and weekend
gigs, but will not be joining us for our regular Tuesday shows. We will miss
him as much, if not more, than you the crowd will.
Thanks for everything Brad. Now get off the stage and let us continue on.

Tesa Nauman, who came to the show this past Tuesday (March 15), wrote an article about us at
the online newspaper SevierCountyNews.
You can read her article at this link. It will be there for one week and then can be located through the archive link.
Thanks Tesa.
Tesa also has a website of her own Tesa Cinephiles and says,
"I had a blast watching you guys perform.
I'm definitely coming back to see more of Einstein Simplified. You guys are great!"
